The Bonne Bell Company, an international cosmetic company based in Cleveland, Ohio will be the title sponsor of the 2007 BONNEBELL CUP.  For Bonne Bell, the sponsorship is one of many initiatives being pursued in support of Bonne Bell’s corporate mission to “encourage girls to celebrate who they are and who they want to be.”  With offices in the U.S. and Australia, this tournament is an example of how The Bonne Bell Company supports girls in sports and the message of good health worldwide.  All players will receive a BONNEBELL gift.

This competition began in 1977 when Jess Bell, president of The Bonne Bell Company and Mrs. Frank A. Jeffett, president of the Maureen Connolly Brinker Tennis Foundation, decided to create a competition between the USA and Australia to promote the development of junior girls’ tennis. Bonne Bell was the first sponsor of the event and also donated the magnificent silver Bonne Bell Trophy.

It is a very competitive match where both teams are playing for the honor of their country.  The United States Tennis Association selects the USA team (along with the MCB Tennis Foundation) and Tennis Australia selects their team according to International Tennis Federation regulations.

“Supporting athletics has long been a tradition at The Bonne Bell Company,” states Chairman, Buddy Bell.  Through the years, The Bonne Bell Company, with its BONNEBELL and Smackers brands, has sponsored a wide variety of girls' sports including skiing, running, cheerleading, soccer and tennis.  “We were one of the first companies to realize the relationship between teens feeling good and looking good.”

With a focus on good health, the BONNEBELL brand launched VitaGloss2O lip glosses, a full line of healthy lip products, which both nourishes lips with essential vitamins and provides healthy shine in a variety of flavors.  Lightly sweetened and refreshing, these glosses are ideal for girls who care about their health and want to look good at the same time.

This event is one of the many tournaments presented by the Maureen Connolly Brinker Tennis Foundation to further junior tennis development in the United States and around the world.

Dallas…The United States Team and the Australian Team for the 18th annual BONNEBELL MCB Cup have been finalized by the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and Tennis Australia.  The event alternates countries each year and it is officially sanctioned by both nations. This year, the event will be hosted by the Royal South Yarra Lawn Tennis Club in Melbourne, Australia from
March 12-14, 2004.

The BONNEBELL MCB Cup match features six of the top girls from the United States and Australia.  There will be four 14’s and two 12’s on each team and a total of fifteen matches will be played over three days.  The United States leads the competition in victories:  14 – 3.

BONNEBELL, an international cosmetic company based in Cleveland, Ohio will be the title sponsor of the 2004 MCB Cup.  For Bonne Bell, the sponsorship is one of many initiatives being pursued in support of Bonne Bell’s corporate mission to “encourage girls to celebrate who they are and who they want to be.”  With offices in the U.S. and Australia, this tournament is an example of now BONNEBELL supports girls in sports worldwide.

This competition began in 1977 when Jess Bell, president of Bonne Bell Inc. and Mrs. Frank Jeffett, president of the Maureen Connolly Brinker Tennis Foundation, decided to create a competition between the USA and Australia to promote the development of girls’ junior tennis.

It is a very competitive match where both teams are playing for the honor of their country.  The United States Tennis Association selects the U.S. team and Tennis Australia selects their team according to International Tennis Federation regulations.

Bonne Bell was the first sponsor of the event and also donated the magnificent silver Bonne Bell Trophy.

“Supporting girls athletics has long been a tradition for Bonne Bell”, states Bonne Bell Chairman, Buddy Bell.  “Through the years, Bonne Bell has sponsored a wide variety of girls sports including skiing, running, cheerleading, soccer, and tennis.  We were one of the first companies to realize the relationship between teens feeling good and looking good”.

This event is one of the many tournaments presented by the Maureen Connolly Brinker Tennis Foundation to further junior tennis development in the United States and around the world.
